The Associated Students UCLA, often called “ASUCLA” for short, is the not-for-profit organization which operates the Student Union, Bookstores, Restaurants, and Trademarks & Licensing at UCLA. We operate and maintain Ackerman Union, Kerckhoff Hall, Lu Valle Commons, the North Campus Student Center, and other campus locations. ASUCLA proudly employs over 1500 students each year.

ASUCLA is proud to announce the opening of the Court of Sciences Student Center.  It features four restaurants new to campus:  Subway, Yoshinoya, Bombshelter Bistro with homestyle sandwiches, salads and entrees with gourmet flair, and Fusion which offers rotating international cuisine.  Southern Lights Coffeehouse offers a full coffee menu and frozen yogurt, and snacks and convenience items are available at the South Campus Shop.
The beautiful new facility is the newest addition to UCLA’s Green Building Program and will achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for its native landscape, water savings and energy efficiency, reduced waste and re-use of furniture and building materials.
